Developed a comprehensive performance benchmarking suite for the Coraza middleware within the gofiber/contrib repository, focusing on evaluating throughput and rule-evaluation efficiency across typical GET and POST request scenarios. Leveraged Go for backend development and performance testing, implementing automated benchmarks that measure middleware efficiency under varied payloads and headers. The suite established reproducible baseline metrics, enabling data-driven performance tuning and regression checks to support ongoing optimization efforts. This work provided a foundation for capacity planning and guided engineering priorities by integrating test automation and middleware evaluation directly into the development workflow, demonstrating depth in Go and backend performance engineering practices.
