Goore Csmoviz developed a System Status Reports API for the vatesfr/xen-orchestra repository, focusing on enhancing monitoring automation for XenServer environments. Leveraging Node.js and JavaScript, Goore implemented new API endpoints that allow xo-cli users to securely retrieve and stream system status reports for both hosts and pools. The solution incorporated HTTP Basic Authentication to ensure secure access, and network programming techniques to enable efficient, real-time delivery of status data. This work provided operators with an end-to-end workflow for proactive monitoring and faster incident response, demonstrating a solid grasp of API development and system administration within a complex infrastructure context.
