Worked on stabilizing the developer experience for Shopify CLI users by addressing both packaging and compatibility issues across platforms. In the Shopify/cli repository, reverted a previous upgrade to Shopify/theme-tools by downgrading dependencies in pnpm-lock.yaml, restoring stability for existing users. Updated the Shopify/homebrew-shopify repository to package Shopify CLI version 3.78.0, ensuring verifiable builds by adjusting the Homebrew formula’s download URL and SHA256 checksum. Focused on maintaining release quality by aligning dependency states and documenting changes for reproducibility. Utilized Ruby and YAML for formula and configuration management, applying skills in CLI tools, dependency management, and version control throughout the process.
