Worked on the Shopify/cli repository to enhance developer onboarding and CI reliability over a three-month period. Delivered a guided development store creation flow by integrating API logic and CLI development in TypeScript, enabling users to generate direct links to the Shopify Partners dashboard when no development stores exist. Improved the CI/CD pipeline by upgrading the upload-artifact action to v4 in GitHub Actions, ensuring artifact handling remained stable while supporting future enhancements. Addressed a bug in the dev store creation flow by cleaning up deprecated URL segments, updating frontend logic and tests in JavaScript to align with current production standards and improve user guidance.
March 2025: Fixed Dev Store Link URL Cleanup in Shopify/cli to align dev store creation links with production base URLs, removed obsolete segments (/dashboard, /new), and updated tests and test data to reflect current production flows. This clarifies user guidance, reduces misnavigation in the dev store flow, and strengthens release quality.
