During December 2025, Greg Von Win delivered two new Python packages, PyTUQ and QUiNN, to the spack/spack-packages repository, expanding its support for uncertainty quantification in computational models and neural networks. He focused on Python development and package management, adding packaging entries for both tools and aligning them with PyPI standards by removing deprecated variants. Greg’s work enables explicit uncertainty quantification workflows for scientific computing and machine learning, improving reproducibility and decision support for downstream users. The depth of his contribution lies in integrating advanced data science tools into Spack, facilitating broader adoption of uncertainty estimation in research and production environments.
