Worked on the kamailio/kamailio repository to enhance reliability and memory safety within the IMS registrar path. Focused on resolving a critical memory management issue in the PCSCF unregister process by zero-initializing the 'search_ci' variable, which prevented potential memory-use bugs during contact information searches. This targeted bug fix improved code hygiene and reduced the risk of uninitialized memory access in C. The work demonstrated attention to detail in bug fixing and memory management, contributing to the overall stability of the codebase. No new features were introduced during this period, with efforts concentrated on maintaining and reinforcing existing system robustness.
