Worked on enhancing asset delivery in the firebase/quickstart-js repository by implementing CDN-based loading for Material Design Lite. Migrated assets from the original hosting to CDNJS using HTML, focusing on front end and web development best practices. This approach reduced reliance on external hosting, improved reliability, and minimized latency for end users by leveraging CDN caching. The migration also mitigated risks associated with hosting outages and streamlined asset management workflows. No bugs were addressed during this period, and the primary contribution centered on delivering a single feature that improved the efficiency and maintainability of asset loading within the project’s frontend architecture.
