Worked on enhancing the uninstall process for the Mole repository by developing a feature that detects and removes bundle-id-prefixed Launch Daemons, improving system cleanliness after uninstallation. Leveraged shell scripting and system administration skills to scan system directories such as /Library/LaunchAgents and /Library/LaunchDaemons, integrating with launchctl unload and PrivilegedHelperTools prefix logic to ensure no helper daemons were left behind. Added regression testing to validate the detection and removal process, aligning remnant discovery with system tooling. Focused on reliability and maintainability, the work addressed a specific gap in uninstall routines, emphasizing thorough testing and robust shell-based automation throughout the implementation.
