Over a two-month period, contributed to the vscode and ThioJoe/_tempFork_vscode repositories by delivering seven new features focused on search subagent enhancements, model selection, and workflow stabilization. Leveraged TypeScript and Node.js to migrate search subagents to a CAPI-based architecture, introduce real-time capability checks, and implement privacy safeguards by hiding sensitive file paths. Developed robust gating logic and expanded unit test coverage to validate agent behavior across configurations, emphasizing test-driven development. Added logging services to improve error visibility and code quality. The work strengthened reliability and maintainability in production environments, with a focus on API integration and full stack development.
