During January 2025, Guri contributed to the bcgov/HOUS-permit-portal repository by implementing a new Technical Support user role, focusing on enhancing support for local jurisdictions within the Building Permit Hub. Guri designed and integrated an internationalized description for this role, ensuring clarity of responsibilities across different languages and improving governance. The work involved updating UI modal text to maintain consistency with localization data, leveraging frontend development skills in JavaScript and TypeScript. While the scope was limited to a single feature and did not include bug fixes, the contribution demonstrated attention to detail in internationalization and role-based access control implementation.
