Worked on the Shopify/nixpkgs repository to expand test coverage for Flake-based workflows in nixos-generate-config. Developed and delivered a targeted test that verifies correct configuration generation when the Flake=1 option is enabled, ensuring that the produced files align with expected outputs. The approach focused on validating the consistency and reliability of configuration files generated under this new workflow, using Nix for both configuration and testing. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature development and quality assurance. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to improving test reliability and maintaining robust configuration management practices.
