Worked on the TUM-DSE/doctor-cluster-config repository to deliver a user role reassignment and access provisioning feature, enabling the transition of a user from the 'students' group to 'chair-members' with updated configurations, SSH keys, and expiration policies. Leveraged Nix for configuration management and system administration, focusing on robust user management and role-based access control. The approach emphasized auditability and traceability by recording all changes through version control commits. This work improved security and streamlined onboarding and offboarding processes, reducing the risk of stale access while ensuring that identity changes were clearly documented and easily reviewable for compliance and operational transparency.
