Worked on the Kareadita/Kavita repository to address a critical issue in the onboarding flow, focusing on ensuring the FIRSTTIME promo code was consistently applied and correctly linked for new users. Using TypeScript and front end web development skills, implemented a targeted fix that eliminated misapplied or broken promotions, thereby improving the reliability of onboarding incentives. The solution enhanced analytics traceability, allowing for more accurate measurement and future optimization of promo campaigns. This work reduced revenue leakage from promo misuse and strengthened new-user incentives, demonstrating a methodical approach to bug remediation and a focus on robust, maintainable onboarding experiences.
