Worked on the JabRef/jabref repository to address UI and localization consistency, focusing on the Automatic Field Editor component. The primary contribution involved fixing capitalization inconsistencies across all language properties, ensuring that the user interface adheres to established localization guidelines. This work was implemented using Java and FXML, with attention to UI/UX design principles to enhance the overall user experience. The developer updated the changelog to document these changes and conducted targeted regression checks to confirm that no unintended UI behavior was introduced. The effort resulted in a more polished and consistent interface for users across different locales.
