During March 2026, JH focused on improving focus management and test reliability in React-based front end projects. In the yamada-ui/yamada-ui repository, JH expanded test coverage for the useFocusOnShow and useFocusOnPointerDown hooks, validating their behavior across a range of scenarios and edge cases using TypeScript and robust testing strategies. Additionally, JH addressed a focus recovery bug in the adobe/react-spectrum repository, ensuring the Autocomplete input correctly retains focus styling after virtual focus events or outside clicks. This work enhanced accessibility, reduced regression risk, and contributed to more stable releases, demonstrating depth in React, JavaScript, and cross-repository collaboration.
