Hans Kristoffer developed Bun Package Manager support for the justjavac/mastra repository, expanding Mastra’s dependency management capabilities to include Bun-based workflows. He updated lock file detection and package manager identification logic within both the CLI and deployer services, ensuring Bun projects are recognized and processed correctly. This work, implemented using Node.js and TypeScript, reduced the need for manual configuration and improved reliability for users adopting Bun. Over the course of the month, Hans focused on full stack development, delivering a single, well-scoped feature that broadened Mastra’s ecosystem support without introducing new bugs, reflecting a targeted and stable engineering contribution.
