
Over a two-month period, contributed to alibaba/PhotonLibOS by integrating high-performance storage capabilities using C++ and CMake. Developed SPDK bdev integration to enable asynchronous I/O on block devices, adding C++ wrapper classes and example code to validate non-blocking I/O paths. Extended the system with SPDK NVMe interface wrappers for local SSDs and introduced an RPC server for remote block device management. Updated the build system to support DPDK, SPDK, and F-Stack, ensuring compatibility with advanced storage technologies. The work established a scalable foundation for both local and remote NVMe storage management within the Photon library’s architecture.
