During March 2025, Hargitay contributed to the unity-sds/unity-monorepo by delivering two features focused on infrastructure security and automated testing. He streamlined CloudFormation templates by removing outdated IAM policies, reducing unnecessary permissions and simplifying configuration management. Leveraging AWS SSM, Docker, and Python, Hargitay also developed an automated landing page verification framework that retrieves URLs from SSM and executes Selenium-based tests nightly, ensuring early detection of regressions. His approach emphasized reliability through robust timeout handling and container lifecycle management. The work demonstrated depth in DevOps practices, with careful attention to security hygiene, automation, and maintainability across cloud and test automation workflows.
