Worked on stabilizing cloud infrastructure within the unity-sds/unity-monorepo by addressing deployment automation for Amazon EKS clusters. Focused on updating the deployment script to reference the most current MCP AMI for EKS version 1.29, ensuring that production environments consistently use the latest and most secure images. This involved modifying the SSM parameter path to align with the updated AMI, reducing rollout risks and supporting smoother upgrade processes. Utilized AWS, DevOps practices, and Shell scripting to implement these changes. The work concentrated on reliability and maintainability, addressing a critical bug to improve deployment consistency without introducing new features during the period.
