During December 2025, Harin contributed to the DragonBluep/openwrt repository by addressing a critical bug in the WiFi initialization scripts. Harin identified and corrected a logic error in the MAC address existence check, ensuring that the MAC address is validated before any downstream logic executes. This fix, implemented using C and shell scripting within the OpenWrt wifi stack, improved the reliability of device onboarding and reduced the risk of misconfiguration across embedded systems. Harin’s work demonstrated targeted debugging and validation skills in firmware development and network programming, resulting in a more stable WiFi initialization flow for end users and devices.
