Developed an automated deployment solution for the coturn/coturn repository, focusing on streamlining Coturn server provisioning on AWS EC2 instances. Leveraging Bash scripting and system administration skills, the work encompassed end-to-end installation, compilation, and configuration of Coturn, including dynamic EC2 IP discovery for accurate service binding. The deployment process integrated Coturn as a systemd service, enabling auto-recovery and operational logging to enhance reliability. Security was addressed by tuning firewall rules to permit only necessary traffic. This approach reduced manual setup time, ensured repeatable deployments, and improved operational consistency, demonstrating effective use of AWS, DevOps practices, and shell scripting expertise.
