Developed and released the NKP ETCD Maintenance Helm Chart for the mesosphere/charts repository, delivering enterprise-grade etcd management features such as defragmentation, snapshots, and observability enhancements. Focused on reliability and deployment hygiene, the work included hardening maintenance jobs with safety constraints and implementing leader-safe defragmentation to prevent outages. Improvements to portability and maintainability were achieved by restructuring chart layouts, optimizing artifact size, and refining shell scripts for minimal container environments. All changes were validated through CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end testing, leveraging Helm, Kubernetes, and shell scripting to ensure production readiness and robust infrastructure as code practices.
