Worked on the envoyproxy/ai-gateway repository to enhance the reliability of embedding integration tests. Developed a dedicated test fixture for embedding requests within the test upstream library, using Go and JSON to simulate and validate fake embedding responses. This approach increased the determinism and coverage of continuous integration pipelines by ensuring that embedding features could be tested with predictable, controlled data. Focused on backend development and API integration, the work reduced risk during feature validation by improving the accuracy and reliability of test outcomes. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on strengthening the testing infrastructure for embeddings.
