Worked on the incident-io/terraform-provider-incident repository to deliver the Escalation Path Repeat Configuration feature, enhancing flexibility in escalation workflows. Developed using Go and Terraform, this feature introduced configurable repeat behavior for escalation paths, allowing operators to set delays on activity and customize repeat intervals. The implementation included updates to payload handling, comprehensive automated tests to ensure reliability, and detailed documentation describing the new configuration parameters. Additional efforts focused on code linting, copy improvements, and data type adjustments to support release readiness. This work improved automation and operator efficiency, demonstrating strong backend development and version control practices throughout the project.
March 2026 (incident-io/terraform-provider-incident) focused on delivering a major feature to enhance escalation workflow flexibility and improving reliability through tests and documentation. Delivered Escalation Path Repeat Configuration to enable configurable repeat behavior (delay on activity and repeat intervals) on escalation path resources. Included updates to payload handling, comprehensive tests, and documentation updates describing repeat configuration parameters, along with a v5.31.0 changelog entry. These changes, together with lint and copy improvements, prepare the provider for release readiness and improved automation in incident response.
