Developed and delivered secure firmware update dispatch functionality for the Corstone-1000 platform within the zephyrproject-rtos/trusted-firmware-m repository. This work enabled PSA Firmware Update (FWU) calls to be securely transmitted between Cortex-A and Cortex-M cores using the RSE-COMMS layer, incorporating essential include directives and permission checks to safeguard the update process. Leveraging expertise in embedded systems, firmware development, and platform development, the implementation established a robust foundation for cross-core firmware update workflows. Written in C, the changes improved traceability and readiness for integration and future enhancements, reducing update risk and supporting secure production deployments on embedded hardware.
