Contributed to the opentofu/terraform-provider-aws repository by delivering two core features focused on AWS ElastiCache resource management. Developed a durability attribute for ElastiCache replication groups, enabling configurable data integrity and availability through default, async, sync, or disabled modes. Added a network_type option to aws_elasticache_serverless_cache, supporting IPv6 and enhanced networking configurations. Both features included comprehensive updates to tests, documentation, and changelogs, ensuring reliability and ease of adoption. Utilized Go, Terraform, and the AWS SDK to implement infrastructure as code solutions, while also addressing CI stability through formatting fixes and test alignment with new resource attributes. No bugs were reported.
