The work introduced API versioning, extension metadata, and operational URLs, along with a dedicated diagnostic page URL to support merchant issue resolution. Leveraging skills in Shopify extension development, API design, and URL routing, the implementation used Liquid to define configuration logic and ensure maintainable code structure. The approach emphasized clean, commit-driven delivery and laid a solid foundation for future terminal management capabilities, providing merchants with a robust surface for managing terminals and diagnosing issues without reported bugs during the period.
