Worked on the SonarSource/orchestrator repository to enhance CI/CD processes by introducing nightly build automation and refactoring the existing build workflow into a reusable template. Focused on standardizing nightly runs, the developer leveraged GitHub Actions and YAML to ensure that nightly builds were scheduled reliably and consistently, aligning with the current CI/CD configuration. The reusable workflow template was designed to accelerate future projects and reduce ongoing maintenance. Additionally, adjustments were made to improve traceability by aligning nightly QA naming conventions. The work emphasized maintainability and process reliability, with a technical focus on CI/CD best practices and workflow automation.
