Worked on stabilizing deployment configurations in the rancher/rke2-charts repository by refining the RKE2 whereabouts Helm chart. Focused on removing duplicate application labels and tolerations from YAML manifests, which streamlined configuration and reduced the risk of misconfigurations. This cleanup improved clarity for operators, making onboarding and downstream upgrades more straightforward. Leveraged DevOps practices, Helm chart configuration, and Kubernetes manifest editing, while collaborating through Git-based version control and code review processes. The work enhanced maintainability and reduced operator confusion, demonstrating attention to detail and a methodical approach to chart hygiene within the Kubernetes ecosystem over the course of the month.
