Worked on the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository to deliver a feature enabling logging for the Vertical Pod Autoscaler in GKE clusters. This involved adding KCP_VPA support to the google_container_cluster.logging_config, requiring updates to the schema and improvements to validation logic. The work spanned the full development lifecycle, from implementing changes in Go and Terraform to updating user-facing documentation in Markdown. By consolidating code, validation, and documentation updates, the feature enhanced observability and reduced potential misconfigurations for users managing cloud infrastructure. The approach demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of schema evolution and code generation alignment within the magic-modules framework.
