During the month, contributed to the geerlingguy/linux repository by implementing support for the Realtek RTL8852BE Bluetooth device within the btusb driver. This work involved identifying the new hardware through its vendor and product IDs and updating the quirks table to enable wideband speech functionality. The technical approach focused on precise driver development in C, ensuring accurate device detection and configuration within embedded Linux environments. These enhancements addressed device misdetection issues and improved the overall user experience for Bluetooth connectivity on the RTL8852BE. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of Linux kernel internals and embedded systems integration without introducing new bugs.
