Worked on the conan-io/conan-center-index repository to deliver a library upgrade and build optimization, focusing on the integration of Libmediainfo version 26.01. Used Python and CMake to enhance dependency management, streamline the build process, and remove unnecessary exceptions, which simplified runtime error handling and improved overall performance. The technical approach involved aligning dependencies and build steps with the new library requirements, resulting in reduced build times and improved CI stability. This work established a more maintainable foundation for downstream projects, emphasizing robust library development practices and efficient dependency resolution within the conan-center-index ecosystem over the course of the month.
