May 2026: Implemented NGINX Metrics Collection via OpenTelemetry in grafana/alloy, adding a new otelcol.receiver.nginx component to collect and forward NGINX metrics. This enables customers to monitor NGINX performance with OpenTelemetry, reducing integration effort and improving visibility across deployments. The feature shipped with documentation, tests, and config-converter updates, and is tracked under PR #6141 (Fixes #237).

Month 2025-09 focused on improving build reliability and deployment stability in ProxmoxVE by correcting library revision assignments across multiple dependencies and addressing a related script syntax issue. The changes were implemented in community-scripts/ProxmoxVE and include a targeted fix that aligns revisions for libjxl, libheif, libraw, imagemagick, and libvips, reducing risk of mismatched libraries in builds and runtimes.

March 2025: Nginx Receiver compatibility update for nginx-prometheus-exporter v1.4.1 in amazon-contributing/opentelemetry-collector-contrib. Addressed organization name change from nginxinc to nginx and updated client initialization to accommodate the signature changes, with the constructor relocation moved to the start function to ensure compatibility and proper functioning of the Nginx receiver. This work minimizes downtime risk and sustains metric collection stability across deployments.
