During May 2025, Hernán Oliva developed the foundational data model and CRUD functionality for academic careers in the ahumadamob/springboot-calificaciones repository. He designed and implemented the Carrera entity along with its repository, service interface, service implementation, and REST controller, establishing a reusable scaffolding pattern for future domain models. Using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA, Hernán enabled robust create, read, update, and delete operations for managing academic career records. This work laid the groundwork for future features such as search and analytics, providing a solid backend structure while demonstrating depth in backend development and RESTful API design.
