During June 2025, Franco Portal worked on the ahumadamob/springboot-calificaciones repository, focusing on enhancing the Cursada entity’s data structure and management. He implemented new JPA relationships within the entity and introduced a dedicated request DTO, ensuring more robust data validation and clearer separation of concerns. The controller and service layers were updated to support these changes, resulting in improved data handling throughout the application. Using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, Franco’s work addressed the need for better entity relationships and streamlined data flow. The depth of the changes reflects a solid understanding of backend architecture and domain-driven design principles.
