During July 2025, Wji developed NetKVM NIC Index Parameter Support for the avocado-framework/avocado-vt repository, focusing on enhancing network parameter management in virtualized test environments. By introducing a nic_index argument to the set_netkvm_param_value and get_netkvm_param_value functions in Python, Wji enabled precise targeting of individual network interface cards during system testing. This approach improved the flexibility and accuracy of network configuration, allowing for more granular NIC-level parameter operations and reducing configuration errors. Leveraging skills in network configuration, virtualization, and system testing, Wji’s work laid the foundation for more robust and configurable network driver testing workflows.
