During July 2025, Hezemis contributed to the minetest/minetest repository by updating Kazakh localization for chat commands and settings labels. Leveraging Weblate, Hezemis translated and refined PO files, ensuring that metadata accurately reflected the latest translation status and contributors. The work focused on enhancing the internationalization workflow, applying Weblate-driven translations to core UI messages to improve the experience for Kazakh-speaking users. Hezemis demonstrated skills in localization and translation, working primarily with PO files and Weblate’s collaborative platform. The scope was focused and well-executed, addressing a specific need for improved language support without introducing new features or bug fixes.
