Worked on the geerlingguy/linux repository to address a critical issue affecting the visibility of the Stateless Command Filtering (SLCF) feature on CEX8 cards. Using expertise in device drivers, kernel development, and system programming with C, contributed a targeted bug fix that unmasks the SLCF bit in the AP card and queue functions sysfs. This technical approach restored reliable detection of the SLCF feature by user-space applications and downstream tooling, resolving previous suppression issues. The change improved automation and monitoring capabilities for systems utilizing CEX8 cards, enhancing overall system observability without introducing new features during the development period.
