During January 2025, Yan Ke Guo enhanced the SigNoz/charts repository by implementing cluster-aware configuration for ClickHouse deployments. He introduced a --cluster-name argument to both the schema-migrator and query-service containers, enabling them to respect the CLICKHOUSE_CLUSTER environment variable and reliably connect to the correct ClickHouse cluster in multi-cluster environments. This update, delivered through a focused Helm chart revision, reduced data misrouting and simplified multi-cluster deployments for users and internal teams. Yan’s work demonstrated practical use of Kubernetes, Helm, and YAML, reflecting a targeted engineering approach that addressed deployment reliability and configuration clarity in complex distributed systems.
