Developed a new Firebase App Check module for the firebase/firebase-android-sdk repository, integrating reCAPTCHA Enterprise as an attestation provider for Android applications. The work involved designing a dedicated provider module in Java, implementing a factory for provider creation, and establishing a registrar to automate setup and reduce manual configuration. Core logic was built to securely obtain and exchange attestation tokens, with updates to the build system enabling modular deployment and future enhancements. Leveraging skills in API integration, Android development, and security, this integration laid the groundwork for scalable, secure attestation flows, enhancing fraud protection and simplifying enterprise adoption of reCAPTCHA Enterprise.
