In July 2025, Hitesh Maurya developed a new Firebase App Check module for the firebase/firebase-android-sdk repository, integrating reCAPTCHA Enterprise as an attestation provider for Android applications. He designed a dedicated provider module in Java, implementing a factory for provider creation, a registrar for automatic setup, and the core logic for secure attestation token exchange. His work included build system updates to support modular deployment and future enhancements. Leveraging skills in API integration, Android development, and security, Hitesh established the integration scaffolding necessary for scalable, secure attestation flows, enabling easier enterprise adoption and strengthening fraud protection within Firebase App Check.
