Worked on stabilizing cross-origin resource sharing in the ktorio/ktor repository by addressing a critical issue in the CORS plugin. Focused on backend development using Kotlin and the Ktor framework, the work involved fixing the filtering of default HTTP methods to ensure the Access-Control-Allow-Methods header accurately reflects allowed methods. Expanded and refined automated tests to verify that response headers contain the expected methods, improving reliability for API consumers. Collaborated with other contributors to enhance maintainability and code quality, applying consistent formatting and linting. The changes reduced client-side CORS errors and improved the overall stability of API development workflows.
