Developed a comprehensive end-to-end functional test suite for the Omi app in the basedhardware/omi repository, focusing on automating core user flows such as login, onboarding, conversations, and device connection. Leveraged Maestro for test orchestration, utilizing Bash scripting and YAML to implement ten modular flow files with a unified test runner and parallel-safe reporting in both JUnit XML and Markdown formats. Emphasized maintainability through a DRY flow structure, centralized configuration, and automated screenshot management. Enhanced test reliability by addressing synchronization and assertion challenges, introducing device gating for hardware-dependent steps, and improving repository hygiene with updated documentation and configuration files.
