Worked on the jumpstarter-dev/jumpstarter repository to deliver external TLS certificate support for both the controller and router components, allowing users to provision and manage their own certificates. This feature was implemented using Helm and Kubernetes, with configuration managed in YAML and backend logic in Python. The work also introduced a deployment mode that disables ingress and route generation, providing greater flexibility for enterprise deployments. By enabling external certificate management and customizable deployment modes, the changes improved security and reduced operational complexity for certificate handling, addressing enterprise requirements for secure, flexible deployments without introducing new bugs during the development period.
