Worked on improving manifest validation reliability in the grafana/plugin-validator repository, focusing on reducing false positives during Go file scans. Addressed an issue where Go files under node_modules were incorrectly flagged by implementing targeted filtering logic in Go, ensuring these files are ignored during validation. Enhanced the robustness of the validation pipeline by adding focused unit tests for the new filtering mechanism and improving error propagation for better visibility. Adjusted manifest ignore lists and expanded parser tests to further strengthen manifest processing. Utilized skills in backend development, CI/CD, and testing, leveraging Go, JavaScript, and YAML to deliver these improvements.
