During June 2025, Hubavka developed and integrated NakaPay Lightning payments into the getAlby/hub repository, enabling businesses to accept Bitcoin Lightning payments directly into Alby Hub wallets. Focusing on frontend development with React, HTML, and TypeScript, Hubavka enhanced the Hub App Store by building a dedicated app listing with branding and a comprehensive setup guide, streamlining merchant onboarding and reducing support needs. The work included improvements to onboarding documentation and thorough testing of the integration, ensuring reliability and a smoother merchant experience. This feature aligned with strategic goals to modernize payments and reduce transaction friction for Alby’s business users.
