During November 2025, Huy Hoang Nguyen enhanced sector emissions visualization in the open-energy-transition/pypsa-earth repository by improving the plotting configuration for energy carrier differentiation. He addressed missing color mappings in the YAML-based configuration, enabling clearer sector-level emissions plots for policy analysis and stakeholder reporting. His work focused on configuration management and data visualization, demonstrating proficiency in color mapping and maintainable plotting code. By publishing detailed release notes, he ensured downstream users could easily adopt the changes.
