Over six months, Teratux contributed to the SuperTux/supertux repository by designing and implementing gameplay features that enhanced both visual fidelity and interactive depth. Using C++ and leveraging skills in AI behavior, collision detection, and sprite animation, Teratux delivered new enemy behaviors, dynamic lighting systems, and state-driven combat mechanics. Their work included refactoring movement and collision logic, integrating asset pipelines, and improving sound management to create more immersive and maintainable gameplay experiences. Each feature was developed with clear ownership and traceable commits, demonstrating a methodical engineering approach and a focus on maintainability, gameplay consistency, and future extensibility within the codebase.
