Worked on the ingadhoc/odoo-academic repository, focusing on enhancing the academic account interests module through targeted backend development and refactoring. The work involved aligning the module with related pull requests and refining business logic for invoice processing, particularly by adjusting parameter handling in the interest invoice preparation method. Introduced a new method to calculate outstanding debts and interests based on invoice status and journal types, improving the accuracy of financial computations. Updated domain filtering for move lines to better support sales journal types, ensuring data routing and reporting matched evolving requirements. All changes were implemented in Python, leveraging Odoo development expertise.
