Worked on the ingadhoc/odoo-academic repository to address a critical bug affecting continuous integration and production stability. Focused on backend development using Python and Odoo, the work involved correcting the string representation of the Identification Number in the res.partner model. This targeted fix resolved runbot build failures caused by inconsistent ID handling, leading to more reliable builds and smoother downstream processes. The solution was implemented as a concise, review-friendly commit and included an update to the Academic module version, ensuring consistent data representation across environments and preparing the codebase for future enhancements while maintaining domain model integrity and CI reliability.
