During March 2025, Idoru42 developed and documented new InfluxDB OSS API v2 query support for the MCP ecosystem, focusing on the modelcontextprotocol/servers and punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers repositories. They implemented server-side integration to enable users to run OSS API v2 queries through the MCP server, expanding interoperability and future extensibility. The work emphasized clean API and database integration, with thorough Markdown documentation to guide users in leveraging the new features.
